Headquartered in the High Tech Campus of Eindhoven, Netherlands, INSIDE Industry Association (formerly Artemis) serves as the European Technology Platform for research, design, and innovation in Intelligent Digital Systems and their applications. With over 270 members from 28 European and associated countries, it spans the entire Electronic Components, Software, and Systems value chain, fostering collaboration between industry and academia.

As a key partner in initiatives like KDT and Chips JU, INSIDE promotes Europe's leadership in Intelligent Digital Systems. Through its dynamic and multidisciplinary community, it drives impactful research agendas (ECS-SRIA, www.ecs-sria.eu) and delivers solutions that boost European competitiveness in the global digital market.

INSIDE focuses on securing funding for innovative, competitive, and sustainable solutions while driving technological advancement and strengthening Europe’s strategic autonomy. Aligned with the European Chips Act, it plays a pivotal role in enhancing Europe's hardware and software supply chain. The European Chips Act has mobilized eleven billion euros in investments and supported over 150 R&I projects across sectors like agrifood, defense, mobility, and healthcare. 

INSIDE has been at the forefront of R&I initiatives shaping the European Vehicle of the Future, with a strong emphasis on Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV). The community is actively driving key projects such as FEDERATE, HAL4SDV, and Shift2SDV, fostering innovation in automotive digitalization. In parallel, INSIDE is engaged in a similar initiative focused on healthcare digitalization, where the H2TRAIN project serves as a foundational pillar. These efforts highlight INSIDE’s dedication to advancing digital and intelligent systems across key industries, reinforcing its role as a leader in European innovation.
