Authors' Guidelines for Camera-Ready Submission of Accepted Papers

This page contains instructions to prepare the final material required to publish your contribution in time for the conference.

As the instructions differ depending on the type of accepted paper, please follow the appropriate links below.

One full conference registration (at paper author rate) is required per accepted paper, regardless of whether the only attendee/presenter is a student (in which case the student rate registration will not qualify) by Friday, 17 January 2025 AoE. Please read instructions carefully and follow the steps to submit your final manuscript.

Please format your paper according to the instructions given below:

  • Format your paper to A4 (210 x 297 mm) settings.
  • Please adhere to the strict page limit of your submission type. (See information in the specific sections below).
  • DO NOT include page numbers.
  • DO NOT include any copyright information.
  • Please remove all footer/header from your manuscript.
  • Use of color may enhance your figures and is encouraged.
  • Avoid the use of type-3 fonts since due to conversions by IEEE the original file size will extremely increase in IEEEXplore.
  • Font size: 10 pt
  • Margins: top = 19 mm, bottom = 43 mm, side = 13 mm.
  • Each column measures 89 mm wide, with a 6.3 mm measurement between columns.
  • Your file must meet the IEEE requirements. IEEE Templates are provided for Microsoft Word and LaTex files at www.ieee.org/web/publications/pubservices/confpub/AuthorTools/conferenc…. For more information see format.pdf.
  • Your file MUST be sent to SoftConf (the same place where you submitted your paper).

Upload your correctly formatted paper according to the instructions given below:

  • Your file MUST be sent to SoftConf (the same place where you submitted your paper).
  • To upload your PDF file for submission to DATE:
    • connect to https://softconf.com/date25/conference/ and log in with the same credentials you used to submit the paper
    • under the section "Submission(s)", click on "Your current Submission(s)"
    • you will see all submitted papers (both accepted and rejected). Click on the paper for which you want to upload the camera ready
    • click on "Final camera-ready submission"
    • follow the instructions provided in that page

REMARK: during the camera-ready submission procedure, you will be asked to confirm the title and the abstract of your paper.

It is your responsibility to check for the correctness of these data. These data, as well as the author names and author order should be exactly the same as they appear on the submitted PDF. The data will be published as is in the conference programme.

If you are an author of a paper accepted as an extended abstract, a late breaking result paper, Multi-Partner Project paper or if your special day session or focus session proposal (panel, hot topic, embedded tutorial) has been accepted, please refer to the specific instructions on this page.

These instructions are for authors of papers accepted as a late breaking paper. If you are an author of a paper accepted as a regular paper or an extended abstract, Multi-Partner Project paper or if your special day session or focus session proposal (panel, hot topic, embedded tutorial) has been accepted, please refer to the specific instructions on this page.

Congratulations on acceptance of your paper for the DATE Conference! Accepted LBR submissions will be published in the electronic conference proceedings (to be published by EDAA) as submitted and were expected to be camera-ready during the initial submission. Thus, no separate camera-ready submission is required for your paper.

Your submission has been accepted as a Multi-Partner Project paper (MPP)

Congratulations on acceptance of your paper for the DATE Conference! Each author should prepare a final manuscript for inclusion in the electronic conference proceedings to be published by EDAA.

The strict page limit for full papers is 6 pages for the manuscript and 1 extra page for the references, and 4 pages for extended abstracts. The paper title should start with "Multi-Partner Project: ". To prepare your camera-ready submission, please follow the instructions (steps one to five) above carefully!

Your focus session proposal (panel, hot-topic) has been accepted

Instructions for authors of focus session papers accepted for the DATE Conference proceedings

These instructions are for authors of papers accepted as part of a focus session (regular, invited or in the scope of a Special Day). If you are an author of a regular paper, an extended abstract, a late breaking result paper or Multi-Partner Project paper, please refer to the specific instructions on this page.

  • Panel Sessions are entitled to one (1) page per panelist in the proceedings.
  • Hot-Topic Sessions are allocated a maximum of six (6) pages per speaker, or one single paper for the entire session which should not exceed ten (10) pages.
